Excellent oxidation stabilityThe use of oxidatively stable base oils, together with an effective inhibitor package, provides high resistance to oxidative degradation. The result is an extended oil life, reducing the formation of aggressive corrosive acids, deposits and sludge, and thereby lowering operating costs.
High foam resistance and rapid air releaseThe oils are formulated with anti-foam additives, which generally control foam formation. This characteristic, together with the rapid release of air from the lubricant, reduces the possibility of problems such as pump cavitation, excessive wear and premature oil oxidation, thereby delivering increased system reliability.
Excellent oil/water separation propertiesExcellent demulsibility — with excess water being commonplace in steam turbines — makes it easy to remove water from the lubrication system, minimising premature wear and corrosion and reducing the risk of unplanned maintenance.
