Eni Blasia 680
EP mineral oil for enclosed industrial gears
ISO VG 680
Mobil Glygoyle Series lubricants are superior-performance gear, bearing and compressor oils delivering outstanding efficiency, long oil life and equipment protection. Fully synthetic and polyalkylene glycol (PAG) based, they are developed for operating conditions beyond the capabilities of other synthetic lubricants and mineral oils, with low pour points for excellent low-temperature fluidity. The ISO 150 to 1000 grades are NSF H1 registered and comply with FDA Title 21 CFR 178.3570 for incidental food contact, and will not contribute to MOAH content in food when used within those limitations. Available across ISO VG 68 to 1000 grades, the series is specifically designed for lubricating worm gears — especially heavy-duty, severe-service applications such as conveyors, escalators, material handling, press drives, packaging machinery, ski lifts, agitators and mixers — as well as other industrial gears, plain and rolling-contact bearings, and most compressor types (reciprocating, rotary, screw and centrifugal) handling hydrocarbon gases, where the low miscibility of PAG with hydrocarbons reduces viscosity dilution versus hydrocarbon-based compressor oils. Very high viscosity indices, from 170 (ISO 68) to 285 (ISO 1000), give a wide operating temperature range beyond mineral and PAO lubricants, and thermal conductivity roughly 10% higher than mineral or PAO oils supports lower operating temperatures. As with other PAG products, compatibility with mineral oils, most other synthetic lubricants and certain seals, coatings and light metal alloys is limited, so systems must be checked and properly flushed before conversion. The series carries SEW-Eurodrive approval and Fives Cincinnati P-39 recommendation, and meets DIN 51517-3:2018-09, FDA 21 CFR 178.3570 and ISO 12925-1:2024 L-CKPG classifications, delivering exceptional EP/anti-wear protection, micropitting protection, rust and corrosion resistance, foam resistance, and a low traction coefficient for increased energy efficiency.
