Divinol HLP-D ISO 46 ZF is a zinc-free ("ZF") hydraulic oil of the HLPD type in ISO viscosity grade 46, listed by the Romanian distributor as "Ulei hidraulic HLPD fara zinc" under article number 48720 and as meeting DIN 51 524 part 2 HLP. HLPD hydraulic oils contain detergent and dispersant additives in addition to the anti-wear, anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation package of a standard HLP oil. They keep small quantities of water and solid contaminants finely dispersed and carry them to the filter, which helps keep valves and components clean; this makes them a typical choice for machine tools and other hydraulic units exposed to condensation or coolant ingress. The zinc-free, ash-free formulation is preferred where the equipment manufacturer requires it.
