Divinol Fluid TO-4 SAE 50 (Art-Nr. 48990) is a high-performance lubricant developed specifically for the highest demands placed on transmissions and hydraulic systems in construction machinery. The SAE 50 grade is the heaviest of the Divinol Fluid TO-4 range and is intended for powershift transmissions, torque converters, final drives and wet brakes operating at high loads and high oil temperatures. Its friction characteristics are tuned to the Caterpillar TO-4 requirement, which controls the behaviour of wet brakes and clutches — an oil that merely meets a general gear-oil specification can cause brake chatter or clutch slip in these units. Divinol Fluid TO-4 SAE 50 meets API GL-4, and Divinol recommends it in line with Caterpillar TO-4, Caterpillar TO-2, Komatsu KES 07.868.1, Tremec/TCC and Eaton Fuller.
